Composting has been in existence for as long as time itself. It as an efficient waste disposal technique which allows organic waste to naturally break down into certain nutrients rich for the earth, and perfect for plants. The only drawback of this method is that it can be painfully slow. It can also consume considerable space.
The most effective method is prevention, which considers the reduction of waste generation. There are plenty of additional products which then quickly become waste. If people can resort to the greater use of second-hand products, instead of purchasing new items daily, this can significantly minimise waste.
